We follow a general itinerary but customize each trip with different lunch spots and activities.

One day on the Klickitat River and one day on the White Salmon River.

An ideal introduction to overnight river trips with fun whitewater and amazing views. 

Riverside camping, delicious food, and close to Portland, this may be the perfect overnight getaway!


Are you ready for an overnight adventure in a remote setting? Want to get away for a short trip that takes you to another world?


This is it!


We provide all the gear: Tents, sleeping bags, and pads, along with pillows, ensuring your comfort and safety at every step of the trip. Perfect for first-time campers and easy for the experienced.


Itinerary: 

Day 1:

Meet us at our White Salmon outpost. Park here and load your personal gear into our rig before we drive to the start of the river trip.  After an orientation, we raft the Upper Klickitat to camp.

Riverside camp includes private tents with sleeping bags and pillows.

Chairs are circled up for an evening of food and drinks with a campfire.


Day 2:

Campers awake to the sound of the Klickitat River and the smell of coffee and fresh air.  After breakfast, we break down camp and head to the White Salmon for a full-day adventure.


Food:

Breakfast: Bacon, eggs & hash browns accompany oatmeal and fresh fruit.

Lunch: Sandwich bar, drinks, chips, and cookies.

Dinner: Cold drinks and charcuterie are served while the aroma from the grill fills the air.

Menu options include steaks and grilled seasonal veggies, accompanied by an assortment of delicious side dishes. Or, when in season, fresh salmon.

Getting There: 

I-84 East, from Portland, you'll drive along the jaw-dropping Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area and cross the historic Hood River Bridge.

Just a few hours from downtown Portland, this getaway transports you to the wilderness.


The journey begins throughout the summer, but custom start dates and private trips are absolutely available; please call to discuss.
