Many of our guides live in White Salmon and Portland year-round.  Our team trains on a regular basis, and many of our guides commit to longer-term certification programs. We are proud to train at the International Rafting Federation standards for guide certifications.

The Portland Rafting Company has run thousands of people down the White Salmon, many of our guides have worked this river for over 10 years - they're seasoned professionals.

Who We Are....

Established 2017:

Portland Rafting Company LLC. opens operations on the Clackamas river in Oregon doing business as PDX Rafting.

2018:
Main operations move to the White Salmon River, Washington.

2019: 

AJ goes down the White Salmon River!

Operations suspended during pandemic.

Advanced Kayak workshops established

American Red Cross licensed training provider established.

We are passionate about conservation, watershed management and respectful interactions with the river, the fish and wildlife.
